Mission
Street Stage is an inspiring inclusive theatre company based in Oxfordshire. Our mission is to use the powerful medium of theatre to affect social change. We interact with the community to empower individuals and groups of people to come together and promote small changes in behaviour, that ripple out to cause a bigger societal impact. We embrace all age groups, and believe in the importance of inter-generational sharing.
Our
Community
Our work is based on the theory that the world is deeply interconnected, and small individual changes can influence much larger complex systems. Thus empowering people in the knowledge that their positive actions, both individual and collectively can have much wider consequences in our world. We can all make an impact!
The Individual
Emphasis is placed on personal growth enabling participants to develop; creatively, imaginatively, physically, emotionally and socially. Our aim is to increase; self-esteem and self-confidence, imaginative thought, articulation, co-ordination and self expression.
